2016 has arrived. Hoping that it has been a graceful arrival for you, too. I got to ring it in with a full and happy heart, hosting our grandson Finn for his first ever sleep-over.  Having just turned one year young, he is such a gorgeous embodiment of possibility and new perspectives. Sweet indeed and not without messes. Getting messy, playing with carefree abandon is half the fun. 

To be honest, I have been envisioning this year for weeks, yet amidst that holiday chaos, I have yet to put much to paper. Anyone else in the same boat? I do believe that not if but when we write down our intentions, our desires and aspirations, it makes it lots easier for the benevolent universe to conspire on our behalf. I have scheduled time for further planning, dreaming and exploring this week. It will include how I’ll FEEL in the process. I strongly encourage you to do the same if you haven’t already. In the meantime, I offer up this lovely reminder from one of my favorites, poet John O’Donohue. Here’s to a magical 2016 as you Design Your Destiny.

FOR A NEW BEGINNING

In out-of-the-way places of the heart,

This beginning has been quietly forming,

Awaken your spirit to adventure;
